Preserving the Legacy: How to Care for Your Roro Leather Goods
Your Heritage leather good is a living material. Like skin, it requires nourishment and protection to age gracefully. Here is how to maintain the patina of your Italian calfskin.
1. The Golden Rule: Avoid the Sun Extended exposure to the intense Dubai sun can dry out natural leather, causing it to fade or crack. Always store your leather goods in the provided dust bag when not in use.
2. Handling Water Spots If your cardholder gets wet, do not use a hair dryer or place it on a heater. This will warp the structure. Instead, dab (do not rub) the water with a dry microfiber cloth and let it air dry naturally for 24 hours.
3. Conditioning Every 6 months, apply a small amount of high-quality leather conditioner. Test it on a hidden area first (like the inside of a card slot). Use a soft cloth to massage it in circular motions to keep the leather supple.
